Training is developed to give some theoretical knowledge’s about basic of refrigeration, practical skills with handling reefer containers on-board ships and troubleshooting guidelines. After completion of the course delegates will be familiar with processes which are flowing in Reefer containers, different types of RC and their modes of operation. Practical aspects of the course are aimed to show the delegates construction of  reefer container, main parts of refrigeration circuit, control circuit components and operation sequence on live reefer unit. Maintenance module includes guideline for basic troubleshooting and parts replacing procedures.

Basics:

Introduction to basic refrigeration;

Refrigerants;

Fundamentals of reefer container (Carrier);

Refrigerating circuit on live reefer container, main parts, their location and principle of operation;

Reefer container types;

Reefer containers modes of operation;

Handling Reefer Containers;
